SANCTUARY WORKSHOPS, EVENTS & CONCERTS 2008 (overview - details follow)
May 16th - 18th Tim Sikyea from the Native American Dene Nation of Canada received his Medicine Name WANBLI ISNA-LA from the descendants of Sitting Bull who adopted him into the Hunkpapa-Lakota tribe.

Wanbli Isna-la (Lone Eagle) is a Sundancer and Chief of the Earthdance
which he brought to Europe in 1990.As a Medicine Person he runs Prayer Pipe and Sweat Lodge Ceremonies.
His teachings remind about the sacredness of Mother Earth and all our
relations.
On his return to Scandinavia, Tim will bless us with his humble presence,
straight talk and good medicine. This weekend will be a time of purification and healing through prayer
in the "Womb of Mother Earth" which the Sweat Lodge is referred to. |
Friday evening welcome Dinner will be followed by an Introduction to
Tim who will share some of the wisdom he carries and teachings around
the Sweatlodge Ceremony. Saturday and Sunday Sweatlodge Ceremonies, prayer ties & sharing circle. All schedule runs according to "Indian Time" Which means: Please leave
your Watches at home and bring the presence of your heart and spirit.
In the Tradition Medicine work can not be bought or sold, therefore
the Ceremony is on donation only. Since Tim needs to cover his
travelexpenses and flights though, we ask for a suggested donation of
750 SEK for the weekend. Expenses for accomodation and food is an extra 750 SEK for the weekend
Fri evening until Sun afternoon.
